lawlessposter2

Secret Identity Productions is proud to present “Lawless” shooting Summer 2010. Jeremy Sisto (Law and Order) will star in the film which Silver Tree and Abe Levy wrote and will direct.  Brandon Barrera will produce.

Shooting begins on “6 Month Rule”

Secret Identity Productions is proud to announce that shooting has begun on writer/director Blayne Weaver’s independent romantic dramedy 6 Month Rule.  The film revolves around a bachelor who follows a set of rules in order to avoid emotional attachment, the most important being: there is no woman so perfect that you can’t get over her in six months. Knowing that he will get over her allows him to dismiss relationships easily and without regret… Until he meets a girl who changes everything.

Blayne Weaver (“Outside Sales”, “Manic”) stars in the film as the perpetually single Tyler Watts. Weaver is repped by Mark Gochman of Stakevich-Gochman. Martin Starr (“Adventureland”, “Knocked UP”) has been cast as Tyler’s best friend Alan, who is recovering from a break-up. Martin is repped by Anonymous Content, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and Morris Yorn Barnes & Levine. Natalie Morales (“Going the Distance”, “White Collar”) has been cast as Sophie, the girl that makes Tyler question all the rules he lives by. Natalie is with Vincent Nastri at Bleecker Street Entertainment and Mitch Smelkinson at Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson and Binder. Vanessa Branch (“Pirates of the Carribean”) is playing Wendy, Tyler’s recurring casual relationship. Vanessa is with the Glick Agency and Sager Management. Patrick J. Adams (“Weather Girl”, “Rage”) is playing Julian, the hipster rock star that Tyler’s character must defeat in order to win the girl. He is repped by Andy Corren at Generate Management and The Gersh Agency. Weaver directed Adams in the 2009 film “Weather Girl”.

Also cast are John Michael Higgins (“A Mighty Wind”, “Best In Show”) repped by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, Magnolia Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern, Dave Foley (“The Kids In The Hall”) with the Gersh Agency, Kristina Klebe (“Halloween”) repped by Global Artists Agency and Luber Roklin, and Brandon Barrera (“Weather Girl”, “The F.P.”) represented by Jeremy Tenser at Abrams, Garfinkle, Margolis, Bergson.

“6 Month Rule” is being produced under Weaver and Barrera’s shingle Secret Identity Productions, in association with Steakhaus Productions. The film, from Executive Producer James Ballengee, is produced by Steak House and Brandon Barrera.
