Blayne Weaver
Blayne Weaver, of Bossier City, Louisiana, attended the University of California Los Angeles, and graduated with a degree in English.
He has appeared as an actor in such episodics as “ER,” “JAG,” “Chicago Hope,” “NCIS” and “The Middle-Man.” His film work includes The Good Old Boys opposite Tommy Lee Jones, the upcoming The F.P. and voicing the character Peter Pan in Disney’s animated Return To Never Land. Weaver co-wrote and acted in the critically acclaimed feature film Manic which stars Don Cheadle (Crash) and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
In 2004, he formed Secret Identity Productions, alongside business partner Brandon Barrera. Their first film produced under Secret Identity was the popular short Losing Lois Lane, which Weaver co-wrote, directed and starred in as Superman. He then wrote, directed and starred in Secret Identity’s first feature film Outside Sales, which won awards on the film festival circuit and was recently released nationwide through Echo Bridge Entertainment. Weaver wrote, directed and played a small role in Weather Girl. To date Weather Girl has played the prestigious Slamdance Film Festival and Los Angeles Film Festival (among others), had a ten city theatrical release, had its television premiere on Lifetime, was released nationwide on DVD and has been sold to over 20 countries worldwide.
Weaver will once again be directing and starring in Secret Identity’s next project 6 Month Rule a script which he also wrote.
Brandon Barrera
Barrera was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Business, then attended the prestigious MBA program at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
Under the production company he and Weaver formed, Barrera co-wrote, starred-in and executive produced Losing Lois Lane, which garnered immense popularity online. He played a lead role and was executive producer of Outside Sales. Barrera acted in and Executive Produced Weather Girl which starred Mark Harmon, Jon Cryer, Jane Lynch and Blair Underwood.
Barrera recently produced and starred-in the upcoming indie The F.P., which displays the talents of Dash Mihok (The Thin Red Line), and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee, Clifton Collins (Capote, Traffic and Babel).
Barrera will once again be producing and acting in Secret Identity’s 6 Month Rule.
